Definitely Big Love

I have to say that this show is hands down the most engulfing series I have seen on TV today. This is a show where even minor characters are complex and multi-sided. This show takes the most basic desires a person has family, love, security, trust, happiness, friendship and twists each and every character under the weight of the lack of these in every episode. Bill the family patriarch who struggles with security day in and day out with finances, boundaries, and his relationships with his 3 wives and children. It seems every door he opens only leads to another closed one. Barb the first wife, struggles with the responsibility that was more or less forced on her due almost to her surviving her cancer; and with the pyramid of power wherein she's accountable for the family the most but has less than complete say over how family matters are handled. Nikki the second wife, struggles with needing to feel important and desired by those around her, her immediate family and her birth family. Margine the third wife, struggles with the lonely-ness that comes from joining a dysfunctional at such a late stage after all the problems have been set and not being able to have any say in how the family is run nor having the freedom to create her own networks thus making it impossible for her to live abundatly, she's in a trap.....The list goes on to the point where each character is so complex and detailed that words no longer do justice to who they are.

Big Love is well worth every sunday of the week it comes on, for the entire hour it runs. It will certainly hook you in and you won't want to miss what comes next. Everyone I've recommened it to that have watched it have fallen in love with Big Love. Must See.

Im a lil bummed my gay mormon scene was cut from se402.. we spent 3 days playing basketball dressed like mormons while alfie walked by us going into the gay fix center... and no feature... hella lame.

This is such an amazing show. It has all the elements that make it as fantastic as it is - comedy, intrigue, action, sex - everything coming together in a delightful mix.
